WHTRN has a second level of membership, "administrative" members. These members are a small group of scholars and consultants who are dedicated to fostering meaningful and collaborative research that explores the challenges and opportunities associated with tourism at World Heritage sites. They come from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds and are based throughout the world (see list below). Administrative members of the WHTRN take very active roles in the WHTRN, such as administrating the WHTRN web site, facilitating dialogues about tourism and World Heritage research at conferences, and fund raising to undertake specific research projects. Administrative members of the WHTRN are appointed by invitation only. If you are interested in becoming an active administrative member of the WHTRN, please contact wanda.george@msvu.ca.
